Whether you’re looking for a family break or a peaceful getaway just for two, you can enjoy exclusive use of this characterful cottage. You’ll find a welcoming atmosphere at Ford Mill, where mahogany furniture, floral bedspreads and country prints create a homely ambience.

The cottage provides plenty of room for five; the property boasts two spacious doubles and a single room. The ground-floor sitting room is cosy in winter – there’s a roaring open log fire, or assumes a garden room feel in the summer months when the sitting room door is left ajar.

For those of you with an interest in bird and wild life, you´ll discover an abundance of creatures living in and around Ford Mill including two very active badger sets as well as herons, ducks, geese and moorhens, deer and pheasants, barn owls and woodpeckers. In season Canada geese nest on an island on the lake.

Located just six miles from South Molton and nine miles from Braunton and the fantastic beaches of Saunton and Woolacombe, whether you´re looking to enjoy sand between your toes or an exploration of the fabulous Devon countryside, with Exmoor just half an hour away by car, you’ve little distance to travel.
